Bwahahahaah. Truffle-squisher.
"The man described as the 'Willy Wonka' of Britain's chocolatiers has resigned after engaging in an "act of truffle-squishing" in a rival store."
On another note, my chocolate making class went very well last weekend, and I came home with some hand made dark milk chocolate. I'm seriously considering opening my own chocolatier in Williamsburg, as my neighborhood is full of hipsters and I'm sure they would provide plenty of business supporting a chocolate boutique. Maybe I could sell organic chocolates and teas? Not sure yet. I've never run a business before though so there's lots of things I need to plan out first. And lots of chocolate to eat learn about in the meantime.
There's also the option of selling chocolate online for other local chocolate makers and supporting the organic/artisan industry. There is no fair-trade industry for chocolate like there is for coffee. I'm not sure what I want to do yet, but there is potential for... something. I need to think about this more. |
