Saw Bjork live yesterday... she's phenomenal. She was dressed (err, wrapped) in this gold foil wide ribbon-ish thing that made her look like a poofy christmas tree ornament. She's about 4ft nothing but she has a voice that makes her seem 20ft tall. She also had an orchestra from Iceland with her and they were incredible. It almost felt like I was watching Cirque du Soleil or the Circus or something. Hearing "Army of Me" live brought back soo many memories...
It was almost as much fun watching the crowd as it was watching the stage. She draws such a diverse, eclectic crowd... no 2 people looked remotely the same. I also managed to run into our old "guy on the couch", Dan (who I hadn't seen in a couple years), so that was pretty cool. (Ah, college.) |
