| Anti Video Games Law - Call Today! |
[Jun. 4th, 2007|03:32 pm] |
If you care at all about free speech, video games, and the state of New York, (and are a resident within NY state) please consider calling your assembly and congressman. Today they are trying to pass a bill that would make it a felony to sell a violent video game to minors. I'm not going to discuss the details here, as they are summarized well in the articles below. Right now my company's president and co-pres are at the capital trying to fight this with all they've got.
If you want to find out who to call, simply pick up the phone, call the New York State Capitol's switchboard numbers below, tell the operator where you live, and you'll be connected directly to your legislator's office. Please tell the staff that answers the phone that you expect your state legislator not to regulate video games. Most importantly, CALL NOW because its going up for vote this afternoon.

- New York State Assembly Switchboard: 518-455-4100
